If what we call miracles happened all the time, we wouldn’t call them a miracle. They would be natural, like all the beautiful things that continually happen every day. But that is exactly what a miracle is—the natural order of things. Who wants a capricious god that will break his own rules for some but not for others just so we can have a miracle? Not me.
