Fully understanding divine Mind’s unerring direction, our experience of life is the perfect harmony of the infinite One. Unerring direction. Wow. Wouldn’t it be great to know that whether we are taking a trip across country, or driving to the grocery store, or planning out the next step of our life’s journey, we are always going the right way. Would we take more trips if we knew? Make more decisions? Follow more ideas? I think we would. All it takes is an increasing willingness to understand that the infinite One’s unerring direction is leading the way.
What divine Mind is thinking about the idea, IS the idea, and is the only thing true about it. After I wrote this TT4T and read it, I heard myself sigh. Sigh because it is so easy, and sigh because it can be so hard to live. It takes being conscious of “what voice is doing the talking.” Is it the “devil” who wants to make things happen, and pushes, and prods. Or is it an Angel Idea, revealing an idea that will demand more of us which might not seem possible, but the unfolding of which will bless everyone. That idea. That’s God’s idea. It has a guaranteed outcome of good.
As light replaces darkness, so human limitations and discord are replaced by divine Love. In our Taiji class, I was responding to the joke question “What is the speed of darkness?” I didn’t know it was a joke, so I said, “The speed of light.” My reasoning was that as light moves in, darkness must retreat. Another answer was supplied by someone in the class. The answer was “no speed, since darkness is nothing.” Either way, it’s true. Light is the power, and we are the light of the One Light!
Divine Mind is never divided into personalities, but is the omnipresent, indivisible One Ego. We tend to revere personalities within the human matrix. Saying God isn’t divided in personalities doesn’t mean we don’t have an unique individual expression that is ours and ours alone. Each thread in the tapestry is unique and needed. But, what if those threads had personalities? You can see the problem. Happily, that isn’t how it is, and as we give up our human personality we discover our unique God expressed individuality.
Every function of man is infinitely, indivisibly, and perfectly performed by God, divine Love. We have all performed. Maybe we are not rock stars, or prima ballerinas, or famous actors, but still we perform. If we are fully living our lives, we often find ourselves in situations where we are worried about how well we will perform. So isn’t it a relief to know that everything we do is already perfectly performed because we are performing the action of God. It’s like how Moses worried about his performance. Look up God’s answer to him. It’s the same for us.
Spirit is never confined in our found in the three dimensional box of material sense. We live within a three dimensional box. It doesn’t feel that way does it? But then, if we lived in “Flatland” only the most aware would realize that there are more dimensions. In this world, we are the more aware. We know for sure there are more dimensions. But no matter how many we may imagine, there will never be a dimension that can contain Spirit. And Spirit is our true nature.
Every trip is a journey into the infinite provision and beauty of the divine Mind. I know it sounds as if this is about big trips. The ones where we travel someplace different and exotic. No. Every trip. Even the trip to the grocery store, or the trip to the mail box, or even a trip from the living room to the kitchen. Wouldn’t it be lovely if we saw everything we did as a trip into the infinite, because in Truth that is exactly what it is.
To align ourselves with good, all thought must proceed from the oneness and allness of the divine Mind. This TT4T is all about intent and premise, the first two steps in Right Thinking. Our intent is to align ourselves with good. Our premise is that there is a Divine Mind that is all, and we are one with It. This all happens within our thought first. Then we have to walk our talk. That means we have to continually ask ourselves if we are aligning with good, and if we truly believe that Divine Mind is all there is.
Because God, good rules, whatever our need is, it is met now. Well, here you go. What could be simpler? God rules. Good rules. Therefore, if we are not experiencing everything we need (not want, not what we are persuaded to want, not junk, not prestige, not power) in each moment, we are simply not being aware of the good already present. It just takes a pause, not one of yearning, but one of gratitude, and the pure desire to understand good, then what is already present becomes obvious. Give it a try.
We are the light and presence of God in every situation. Often, when we find ourselves in a situation that we don’t like, we start doing some form of praying. If we don’t resort to praying, we hope that someone else will come along and fix the situation. However, if we recognize we are the presence of God, then what we need is immediately available. All we have to do is be willing to relinquish our ego and be the light.
The appearance of need is always evidence that the need has already been provided for by the law of divine infinite Love. This is different isn’t it? Usually when we have a need we think it is about filling an empty hole. Now we find that having a need is evidence that what we want is already present. However, once again it is a matter of letting go of how we think it should be. This would be exactly how Love would work isn’t it? Wouldn’t we provide for someone we love in this way if we could? Yes. So Yes, this is how it is.
Whatever appears to be due now, has already been provided for by divine Love, outside of time and is available for use now. Haven’t we all faced a time when a bill was due, or a job had to be done, and it appeared that there wasn’t enough money for the bill, or enough time for the job. If we have a habit of panic, or worry, the problem appears to get worse. What if we had the habit of pausing and reminding ourselves that the harvest is always ready, and that we were promised that every need is met before we knew we had the need. Then there would only be joy at the opportunity to observe God’s law, outside of time, in action.
If what we see or experience is not absolute good, we can accurately say,”This is nothing.” It can be hard to agree that there is absolute good because so often there appears to be so much going on that is not good. Even the small things like a mosquito bite can take us away from believing there is only absolute good. However if we start with that premise everything else will fall into place, and what is not good, will dissolve away.
Only Divine Mind through the Principle of Love, the law of indivisible good, can conceive, create, or cause. Here’s where I feel a great sigh of relief. In spite of the fact that sometimes I still wish I could “make” things happen, in truth, I am delighted that I can’t. It is such a relief to know, in spite of my ego, I have never created or caused anything in big R Reality to happen. We are instruments of the Principle of Love. What we think we have caused and created has always been Love in action.
Divine Love is the eternal substance of our being, and can never be compared or measured. My dad used to weigh himself every day, and keep track in little blocks he drew on cards. It taught me early the uselessness of measuring, because nothing changed. I knew I had to learn what true substance is, and although I am still learning, I know for sure it can’t be measured, or compared. Why? Because substance, is Soul, Spirit, Love. These qualities are immeasurable, and holding to these, what needs to change, will.
Nothing Real is ever lost. It all depends on how we look at it doesn’t it? If we believe that what appears to be lost is really lost, we will probably never find it again. If we start with the premise that what is real, meaning true substance, is never lost, then we will find it again, because it could never have been lost. It will appear as it was, or in a different form. Nothing is lost-ever.
Every day is our Father’s day as he provides, sustains, supports, and unconditionally loves every one of us fully and constantly. This made me think of the song “He’s got the whole world in his hands.” Isn’t it a promise that we are constantly within God’s provision? Sometimes we want to think we aren’t included in this idea. What? We live outside of God’s care? Why would we allow that thought to take up residence in our life? It’s a version of saying we are special. Let’s be special within Love. Much better don’t you think?
Even a penny is a symbol of the immediate availability of universal substance in Its entirety and which meets every need. If each of us could grasp what this means, it would be the end of fear and greed. Perhaps we wouldn’t have a billion pennies, but we would have the understanding of the science of supply. Money is not supply, it is a symbol of it. We are surrounded by supply. If instead of looking for how to make more money, we spent that time meditating on the immediate availability of all we need, we would see it.
Understanding the omnipotence of infinite Mind, we are released from the false evidence of the material senses. Omnipotence is the quality of having unlimited power. That’s pretty nifty. As long as it is unlimited good power. Omnipresent means the property of being present everywhere. Here’s where we make a decision. Obviously we can’t have both good and evil omnipresent. One or the other has to exist. Long term evidence proves that good exists permanently. Therefore, only good is omnipotent, and evil is the illusion that is destroyed by Truth.
We live as the Individualized and infinite power of good. There is an infinite power, and it is good. Do we live as if there is an infinite power of good? Do we live as if we are the individualized power of good? Each of us delivering, living, and sharing good in our own unique way? Or do we think we are not good enough to do so. When we do that, are we denying that there is an infinite good? The answer is yes.
Eden represents our spiritual home, where only good is known and from which we have never been banished. If we have never been banished from our spiritual home, called Eden, why does it feel that way? Because we have banished ourselves by accepting that there is both good and evil. Whenever we are in the complete understanding of only good, we are home. In the meantime we don’t hide from the claim of evil, we face it, and banish it from every life it touches by standing firm in the Truth that only good is present.
Our inheritance and heritage proceed from indivisible and infinite good. We think of inheritance and heritage as something passed down generation to generation. Some people get inheritances, some don’t. However, the Truth is, we all have an inheritance, and it is the Divine well that never runs dry. We can’t ruin it, or lose it. Much better than the human one. And when we give up the idea of human heritage, we discover our Divine heritage that never began and never ends. Much better!
I am so glad we have mirrors. They are good for making sure everything is in the right place before heading out for the day. But the best part is the demonstration that the reflection in the mirror can’t do anything other than what the object it is reflecting is doing. No lag time. Which makes it easier to understand how we, as God’s reflection, can’t have or do anything but good. That’s our true state of being – now.
Permanent, harmonious, infinite, indivisible, abundant Life is the law of our being. Indivisible is an interesting word. It means that it is unable to be divided or separated. Isn’t this a relief? That means nothing about good can be separated from it. That we can’t be separate from the I AM. That the I AM can’t be separate from us. That abundance can’t be separate from us or any of our lives. Perhaps that means we can stop trying to fix it, and instead act from the truth of indivisibility.
As the conscious identity of being, we experience all the good that is God. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to always be ONLY conscious of good? How hard would it be to do that? We would have to face anything we let into our human mind that claims there is something other than good, and replace it with the conviction that there is only good. We would only support good. Be good. See good. Sounds hard, but is it? Not if we claim our true identity as good in action.
The harmony, order, and beauty of divine Mind is ever-present and unchanging. This is perfect for people who say they don’t like change. Unlike everything else in the universe that is always changing, there are some things that are always unchanging. It’s the qualities of infinite Love. God qualities are always perfect, always available. So when we think we can’t handle change, we can celebrate what remains the same, God’s Love.
We are composed entirely of the infinite qualities that proceed from and remain in God. Well, that’s different. We were taught that we are composed of blood, bones, tissue, and DNA. Now we discover that isn’t true at all. Instead we are the infinite qualities of God. Qualities like strength, health, wholeness, grace, love, kindness, abundance, supply, security, joy, peace – as we can see, the list is endless. Thank God!
We are God’s business. Too often the idea of business has a bad name. We need to let go of our educated ideas about business. Business is really about the constant, consistent, supply of all that is needed for everyone at all times. That includes rocks and clouds, along with every idea of God called human. In fact, we are the business of God in action; the business of love, goodness, peace, and joy, shared and expressed. Choose your medium!
All the good and beauty we experience is the one Spiritual Universe that is not only hidden by the belief that it is material, or that we are human. I have a friend who just wouldn’t agree that there was a God, until we started talking about the idea of beauty. She could see and agree that beauty is a principle of the universe, and from there it was easy to agree that beauty is a quality of God. Not the human, changing idea of beauty, but the expression of beauty found in the diverse, unique, infinite expressions and symbols of nature, which does include us!
Divine Love is unaware of anything but Its perfection, indivisibility, and infinitude. This is how I can tell that I am not often within the realm of Divine Love. I don’t see everything as perfect – at first. However, it’s an easy switch. Instead of trying to fix something, I can quickly switch to seeing only perfection in everything, remembering that it is only a misunderstanding or misperception that makes me think otherwise. Once that is done – whoosh – I am closer to understanding Divine Love.
As the expression of Soul, we are the state of satisfaction It is feeling. What if we lived in a state of satisfaction. We would be singing, Come Get Your Satisfaction! All it takes is the understanding that we are the expression of Soul. Think what that would mean. We would always be in a state of satisfaction if we recognized ourselves as the outpouring of beauty, love, joy, and goodness. Nothing to work at, everything to enjoy.
